NUNUI (2013) is an animated short film by Chanya Hetayothin. It was adapted from original Southern Thai shadow puppets "Nang Talung".

Searching for his way out, Nunui meets a companion.

Filmmaker Biography:
Chanya has worked as animator, designer and art director in Thai animation
industry since 2002. Although she has trained and worked largely under
a commercial model, Chanya prefers to regard animation as an art form.
In her film, Chanya intends to integrate southern Thai shadow puppetry with
contemporary animation. Chanya is now a research student at
University of the Arts London (CCW).
